What data do we collect?
FMS may collect the following data.

You directly provide FMS with most of the data we collect. We collect and process data when you:
- Make a donation
- Subscribe to our newsletter

- Place an order for any of our merchandise

- Make a donation to us through other websites like Donorbox, Paypal and Facebook
- Follow us on other websites like Facebook, Instagram and Linkedin

How will we use your data?
FMS collects your data in order:
- To process donations
- To process your order on our web shop
- To send communications to people that have enquired on the website
- To ensure that the content from our website works effectively for you and on your digital device
- To communicate with donors, supporters and website viewers, in line with their preferences, if you have told us it is of interest to you, for example FMS updates, newsletters and fundraising campaigns.
How do we store your data?
FMS securely stores your data to the best our ability, making sure that that we use encrypted technologies and information is anonymised whenever possible. We securely store all personal information on our password protected Google cloud-based software.
FMS will keep your data for no longer than two years or until you have communicated with us that you do not wish for us to keep your personal data any longer. Please note that this is as long as there is not a legal requirement or legitimate reason to store personal data longer. Once there is no longer a reason to keep your data or you have communicated with us to erase your data, we will delete it, or anonymise it for monitoring and evaluation purposes.
What are your data protection rights?
FMS would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:

- The right to erasure
- The right to restrict processing
- The right to object to processing
- The right to data portability

Newsletters
Having consent is very important to FMS. We will seek your consent to hold and process your data, especially when it is to send information via email about FMS activities and updates, and occasionally necessary marketing material for fundraising campaigns. Fundraising activities helps us raise the funds necessary to enable us to deliver skateboarding sessions that support vulnerable young people’s wellbeing, empowerment and social cohesion.
If you have agreed to receive our newsletter and any other communications from FMS, you may always opt out at a later date, by emailing us directly at info@freemovementskateboarding.com
When you opt to unsubscribe, or we receive an email bounce-back, personal data will be deactivated and will no longer be included in our communications. Information about engagement with FMS may remain in our database for a period of no more than two years. We then may anonymise data for monitoring and evaluation purposes.
Use our web shop
If you use our web shop to place an order, it is necessary for the conclusion of the contract that you enter your personal data, which we need for the processing of your order. We process that data provided by you in order to process your order. The legal basis for this is art.6 para 1 of the GDPR.
Through this process you can voluntarily accept for us to add your email to our mailing list, in order to receive the FMS newsletter for updates on our activities, fundraising campaigns and new products. If you consent, you may always opt out at a later date, by emailing us.
We are obliged by law to store your address, payment and order data for the required period necessary. However, after two years we will restrict the use of your personal data and your data will only be used to comply with legal obligations.
